What are your favorite wines and why?

What are your favorite wines? Why? When people ask me what my favorite wine is I usually respond that “it depends”, and it really does depend. On the food I’m eating, on the weather, on the time of day, who I’m with and, frankly, my mood.

    I tend to favor the crisp, fruity Sauvignon Blancs in the summer and in the winter the heartier Pinot Noirs and Cabs in red and a nice buttery, oak-y Chardonnay.

    Thanks for your post. Sauvignon Blancs are perfect for summer. Crisp, clean & refreshing. Pinots can be enjoyed all year long-put one on ice for 10-15 minutes & enjoy!
